MISSION

The mission is to provide a place where capable and willing people can serve children, adults, and the elderly who do not have access to healthcare due to homelessness, lack of adequate insurance, or lack of transportation. Another purpose is to provide an access point for Christians to share the gospel of Jesus Christ while providing health services to people who are sick and in need of compassionate care.

SERVICES OFFERED

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Since the clinic opened its doors in 2004, more than 7,000 patients have received medical care; kids, youth and adults who otherwise, would not have received the care they needed. Meaningful data is collected annually to track progress and improve the program quality, policies and practices. Our evaluation process enables the clinic’s medical administration to record the number of participants who directly benefit from the Well of Healing Mobile Medical Clinic. Further, we assess the positive impact that having access to healthcare has on the communities in San Bernardino County.

OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE

The clinic is staffed primarily by volunteers.  There are numerous opportunities to serve, both on the front line and behind the scenes.  Opportunities exist in all areas of medicine; MDs, PAs, Nurses, EMTs, Pharmacists, clerks, lab techs, and Phlebotomists.  Also, volunteers are needed for prayer, intercession, and administrative tasks such as medical records, data entry, follow up, patient education, accounting, grant administration, grant writing, legal counsel, IT and Class B drivers (we will train).
Bring your gifts and talents and we will find a place for you. Separate teams are built for each of the sites, and their members serve one Saturday per month. The volunteers serve within their professional  licensure as mandated by Title 22 of the California Standards.  If you are interested in serving at the clinic,  please fill out the application at wellofhealing.org or you can contact us at (909) 463-0103. Ministry training is provided in areas to build skill in urban outreach, prayer and sharing of faith.

We have many ways you can help. If you are ready to apply to be a caregiver, please download, complete and email our application documents to info@wellofhealing.org.
